About ME and a Few Things Have Changed!!

Hey everyone!!! My name is Randee Mooney. Despite being profoundly deaf, I rely on hearing aids. I’m a wife, a mom to two young kiddos, and a fur mom to Copper and Penny (my pets) and to my chickens—Daisy, Tulip, and Henry and two baby chicks Poppy and Sunny(Sunflower)! I plan on getting more chickens soon! I’m a country cowgirl at heart, and I love adventures, nature, animals, and all kinds of critters. I used to ride and work with horses, and my love for them still runs deep.

A Few Changes I Made!

One day, I got to thinking about how things would look at an event booth or on a store sign. Since I do both photography and sewing pet couture, I didn’t want two separate names—it just didn’t make sense. So, I combined them with "RWP’s" to make it stand out as RWP’s PhotoGraphix and Pet Couture! It’s a mix of my maiden name and my kids’ initials (RW), and my grandaddy's initials RWP. Oh, and I made the domain shorter: rwpphotographix.com. It’s easier to type!

Life Update!

I just did my last photoshoot with a sweet girl named Misty and her puppy named Ellie! I can't wait to show yall pictures! Now, I’ve put photography on hold due to we have been packing up our home and getting everything into totes, so when the time comes, it’ll be less about packing and more about moving!

Big Dream!

I have big dreams for when we move! I want a home with enough land to grow veggies and fruit, raise more chickens, and add two horses—maybe even some goats and ducks! Back in 2011, my hubby and I came up with a freeze brand—MHR—for Mooney Horse Ranch when I had horses. Later, we changed it to Mooney’s Hideaway Ranch so it could cover more than just horses while keeping the MHR symbol we designed. The name "Hideaway" is so special to me because of my MawMaw. She had a sign made and named the playhouse "Randee’s Hideaway" after me, and we raised baby bantam chickens together in the playhouse. Such sweet memories! Even though we don’t have a ranch yet, I’m holding on to my dream and faith that one day we’ll get there. For now, I’ll just be posting about my chickens, dogs, and any animals under Mooney’s Hideaway Ranch.

Exciting News for now! Penny is pregnant, so we’re expecting puppies in May!
